Learn how to admin headless mode, authetication and HTML insertions

The brand configs section allows Unidy administrators to define all settings related to headless mode, authentication and HTML insertions. This section is divided into those three categories: headless mode configuration, authentication configuration, HTML header and body insertions.

Headless mode
Activating the headless mode enables you to keep your customers inside of your shop while still benefiting from the Unidy ID. Headless mode will block every Unidy site, except for the login and registration screens. For further details please refer to Headless mode.
Headless fallback URL
Here you can configure an URL that the user will be redirected to after successfully logging in. For further details please refer to Headless mode.

External signup URL
If your registration process is handled by another service that isn’t Unidy, you need to add the URL the user should be redirected to for the registration flow. All URLs intended for registration in Unidy forward to this URL, if this feature is enabled. Unidy only serves as a login in this case.
Enable oAuth proxy confirmation page
Allows you to add an extra step for registration flow, when using social logins. If enabled the user will see an extra screen after login in the social media account to confirm the account creation in Unidy. If not enabled, the user account will be created in Unidy right away.
Enable profile/newsletter query for invitations
If activated, allows you to use the profile and newsletter query inside of the registration flow for invited users. If the user was created with attributes like first name or last name these fields will be prefilled and the user will be able to update them or continue without changing it. For further details about profile/newsletter query, see below.
Show profile query
Allows you to add different data fields for users to fill in during the registration. If enabled the user can provide additional profile information in those fields in order to finish the registration flow and create an account in Unidy. You can choose the data fields, sort them as well as mark them as required by clicking on Edit fields. For further details, please refer to the section below.
Show newsletter query
Allows you to display to the user existing newsletter including preferences, so that the user can subscribe directly to the newsletter during the registration flow.
Simplify newsletter query in registration flow
If enabled, the newsletter is displayed without preferences during the registration flow. If the user decide to subscribe for the newsletter, default preferences are going to be set in this case. In order to see your current default preferences click on See default topics.
Password min length
Minimum password length allowed: minimum value is 8 characters.
Password requirements
Types of required characters a password needs to contain. There are 3 different options to choose from: - number - symbol (e.g. %, &, /) - mixed_case (lower-case and upper-case letters)

Profile query

The Profile Query function enables you to collect additional user information during the registration and login process. This feature lets you expand the standard sign-up flow beyond just the email address and password—allowing you to capture a richer set of user attributes, personal details, and customer data.

When activated, the Profile Query step appears immediately after the user enters their login credentials. In this extra stage, users can be asked to provide various kinds of account information, contact details, or custom attribute entries—depending on your specific business requirements.

On this screen you can see an overview of all the fields that are currently added to the registration flow. You can change the order of the fields using drag and drop arrows in the Position column. You can access the editing mode on the right side of the list by clicking on the pen icon or delete a particular field by clicking on the trash can. To add a new query field click on the New button in the top right corner. To get back to the brand configuration menu click on Brand button in the top right corner.

Data field and description

Attribute
There are 2 field categories to choose from: - User attribute: general user information e.g. first name, date of birth etc. - Custom attribute: extra fields that can be added to user profile in Unidy In the following field you can choose the respective profile field.
Required
Query fields can be set as mandatory. If activated, the user wouldn’t be able to finish the registration process without providing the respective information.
Full size
If enabled, the field will be take the whole width of the registration flow container. If not active, there will be 2 different fields on the same level. On the picture Query fields in the registration flow above First name and Last name fields are not in full size, on the contrary Birthday is a full size field.

Custom code in HTML header
Allows you to add custom code into the HTML header on every page of your Brand ID. Usually this setting is used together with the following one. Main use cases for this feature are Google Tag Manager integration, chat window, different widgets, cookies banner etc.
