Profile Cockpit
Learn how the users see and manage their data
The profile cockpit acts as the central hub for displaying and managing your user’s personal information such as personal information, user groups, or personal interests. to enable a seamless and data management across connected platforms. The stored data is organized into four main categories: personal data, address information, additional information, and login data.
Profile Information
The profile cockpit is designed for clarity and ease of use, with information logically divided into three sections to enhance the user experience and streamline data management. While the Personal Data and Address Information sections focus on essential user details, the Additional Information section provides flexibility, allowing you to add and organize custom attributes based on your specific needs.

All user data can be seamlessly synchronized with integrated systems using our APIs and Webhooks, ensuring real-time updates and consistency across all platforms.
Data Field Configuration
To enhance data quality and give you maximum flexibility in managing synchronized user data, Unidy offers the following configurable features for data fields:
- Locked Attributes: Users cannot edit these fields after the initial input. Changes can only be made by an admin or through third-party integrations. Additionally, tooltips can be added to provide users with helpful context.
- Data Validation: Set up basic or advanced regex validation rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Country Code for Mobile Numbers: Requires users to enter a country code when providing a mobile number, including comprehensive phone number format validation.
These features help maintain clean, reliable, and structured user data across all integrated systems.
Login Data
The login data section includes the user's email address, password reset functionality, and the option to delete their account, ensuring full control over account access and security.
As of know, users cannot change their email addresses themselves. This feature will come soon!

Change Password
To start the change password process, the user clicks on the change password link in the profile cockpit.
Option 1: Update Password Directly
- Enter the current password.
- Provide a new password.
- Confirm the new password by re-entering
- Click Save.
Option 2: Reset Password via Email
- Click Send an email to reset the password instead.
- Receive a Password Reset email and click the link provided.
- Set a new password.
- You will then be redirected to the login screen to sign in with your new password.
- User is forwarded to the login screen and logs in again.

Account Deletion
When this feature is enabled, users will see the Delete User option in the Manage User section of the Profile Cockpit. Upon clicking Delete User, a dialog box will appear, informing them about the implications of account deletion and providing an overview of the brands affected by the process.
For multi-brand customers: All brands that the users is registered at would be listed here.

After confirming the deletion, a final dialog box appears, confirming that the process was successful. Once the dialog is closed, users are automatically logged out.

If the user decides to create a new account with the same email address, this is possible without any problems. During the registration process, a new Unidy ID is created and transmitted to the respective service/partner in the course of the initial login.
